About Extreme Malice

Extreme Malice Launches on March 8, 2025!

In Mesa Vista, Colorado, civic duty comes with a deadly price.

Amy Wilson joined her local school board to make a difference in her community. Instead, she found herself at the center of a vicious culture war she never signed up to fight. When anonymous threats escalate to violent harassment, Amy refuses to back down—even as the danger mounts.

Her uncle Jack, a retired detective, uncovers evidence of a shadowy network of political extremists working to destroy her. But the deeper he digs, the darker the conspiracy becomes. As the threats turn deadly, Amy and Jack race to expose the truth before civic service exacts the ultimate cost.

“An intriguing, captivating, well-plotted tale … A timely and fascinating book that I highly recommend.” — From review by author Grant Leishman.

About J.T. Tierney

J.T. Tierney writes fiction in several genres. Love, Literally, his first novel, is a smart romance, inspired by the pandemic lockdown in 2020. His second—The Butcher on Colfax—is a work of historical fiction, exploring the lives of Irish migrants to Colorado in the 1890s. In early March, 2025, he will release a suspense novel, Extreme Malice, about local public officials in a small Colorado city being harassed and terrorized by a shadowy group of conservative reactionaries. The later part of 2025 will see the release of his romantic comedy about a brilliant but socially awkward convention planner, raised in an isolated Arctic outpost by research-scientist parents, who learns to navigate big-city life and the pathways of the heart with the help of an empathetic colleague.

A retired professor of American government, his writings include academic books and journal articles. He was a contributing writer for “The Alantic” for several years after he left academia. He later turned his attention to writing fiction. He resides outside Chicago with his wife of 43 years and their dog.
